Carey International Announces New CEO

WASHINGTON, March 22 --

Carey International, Inc. today announced that Devin J. Murphy, 37, has been elected Chief Executive Officer by its board of directors. Most recently, Mr. Murphy has served as President and Chief Operating Officer. He succeeds Vincent A. Wolfington, 63, who will continue to serve as Chairman.

Mr. Murphy is a member of the Travel Business Roundtable, an organisation whose mission is to educate elected officials about the important economic and social contributions of the travel and tourism industry. He received a bachelor's degree in economics from Boston College and a M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
