DURA Automotive Extends Senior Note Exchange Offer

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.--March 22, 2004--DURA Automotive Systems, Inc. today announced it has extended the deadline to exchange its debt securities until 5 p.m. ET, on March 26, 2004. DURA commenced an exchange offer on February 18, 2004, whereby it offered to exchange its outstanding $50,000,000 in aggregate principal amount of 8 5/8% Senior Notes due 2012 (CUSIP Nos. 26632QAM5 and U26557AF2) for new debt securities identical in all material respects to these outstanding debt securities, other than that they are registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The exchange offer was scheduled to expire on March 19, 2004, at 5 p.m. ET. As of 5 p.m. ET on March 19, 2004, $43,750,000 in aggregate principal amount of the 8 5/8% Senior Notes due 2012 (CUSIP Nos. 26632QAM5 and U26557AF2) had been tendered for exchange.

The exchange agent is BNY Midwest Trust Company. Holders of these debt securities may participate in the exchange offer by tendering their book entry interests in the debt securities to the exchange agent pursuant to the exchange offer procedures, which are obtainable from the exchange agent.
