BMW Says March 2004 Car Sales Will At Record Level

BERLIN March 17, 2004; Dow Jones reported that Helmut Panke, chief executive of Bayerische Motoren Werke AG , Wednesday said the luxury carmaker will have its best-ever March sales.

BMW sold 1.6% fewer cars in the first two months of 2004 because of a shut down at its Munich facility.

The company is targeting record car sales for full-year 2004.
