Key Plastics Names David M. Roys Group President for Exterior & Underhood Products

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--March 15, 2004--Key Plastics L.L.C. today announced that David M. Roys has been named group president for Exterior & Underhood products. He replaces Timothy D. Nelson, who was recently named president & chief operating officer of Key Plastics L.L.C. North America.

Roys reports directly to the president of North American operations and is responsible for directing the group's on-going operations, product development and strategic initiatives supporting achievement of overall organizational goals and objectives.

"David Roys is the right person to lead our exterior & underhood products group into the future," said Nelson. "With more than 10 years of hands-on experience at Key Plastics, David thoroughly understands the complexity, challenges, and opportunities of the automotive supply business. He clearly possesses the skills, energy, and enthusiasm necessary to drive the group going forward."

Roys first joined Key Plastics in 1994 as controller at the company's Grand Rapids, Mich. facility, and was subsequently promoted to plant manager in 1996. With the addition of the Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan facility in late 2002, he was promoted to General Manager for the company's underhood products operations.

He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Grand Valley State University.
