OESA Selects Denton as Chairman for the Balance of 2004
TROY, Mich., March 15 -- The Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) announced that Larry A. Denton, president and CEO, DURA Automotive Systems, Inc. and immediate past chairman of OESA, will serve as chairman for the balance of the fiscal year. Effective March 1, 2004, current OESA Chairman William J. Carroll, retired after a 34-year career with Dana Corporation, where he recently served as acting president and COO.
"I'm pleased to have this opportunity to again serve the industry as OESA chairman, and continue the important efforts OESA is undertaking for the automotive industry," Denton said. "OESA addresses industry issues that we as individual companies could not effectively address. Establishing a collaborative relationship between suppliers and customers of all levels will continue to be an area of primary focus. Warranty reduction, value analysis and engineering, optimizing capacity utilization and other new innovations are just some areas we can work together to positively impact the industry. I'm looking forward to again bringing leadership to this effort."
Joseph B. Anderson, Jr., chairman and CEO, TAG Holdings, LLC, and William L. Kozyra, president, Continental Teves, North America, currently serve as vice chairmen of OESA.
