Sat-Comm Selects AuraGen as Mobile Power Source for Armored Remote Broadcasting Vehicles

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 15 -- Aura Systems, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: AURA) today announced that Sat-Comm, a United Kingdom- based broadcast and telecommunications systems integrator, has selected the AuraGen(R) to supply mobile power for their remote broadcasting vehicles. Aura Systems will initially outfit an armored Chevrolet Suburban remote broadcast vehicle with the AuraGen G5000 for customer evaluation. The remote broadcast vehicle, outfitted with vehicular armor, is designed for use in hot- spots worldwide. Its first application will be in support of a major news agency operating in Iraq. The armor provides enhanced personnel protection while operating in potentially hostile environments. It's expected that additional units will be purchased by Sat-Comm after the initial customer evaluation phase is completed.

The AuraGen G5000 provides 5000 watts of "clean" AC electrical power that will be used to operate the vehicles sophisticated computer and communications equipment as well as lights and other equipment required to support their remote broadcast operations. Sat-Comm specializes in mobile broadcast systems with an emphasis on Satellite News gathering vehicles and high specification flyaway systems.
