Clarity Technologies Inc.'s proprietary software suite includes multi- award winning voice extraction and echo-cancellation software that adapts itself while capturing the voice of interest from background sounds (including other voices). This state-of-the-art technology is far more advanced than the more common noise cancellation approaches that simply suppress noise components. This makes the voice more intelligible to the human ear, more recognizable to computers and optimizes vocoders telecommunication devices and networks.
Peiker is recognized as an industry leader in providing hands-free cellular products to the automobile industry. Clarity Technologies Inc. is recognized as the independent leader of audio voice input software for the automotive industry. The combination of a premier hands-free car kit manufacturer and the technology leader in voice signal processing software has created a new standard by which all other voice based interfaces for the car are being measured.
"We continue to see our products receive the highest marks in the industry and as the audio voice quality standard by which all others are being measured. This is in no small part due to the contributions of Clarity's CVC technology in combination with our acoustic design and quality manufacturing capability. Peiker's Bluetooth product with Clarity's CVC technology continues to be the right product at the right time," said Reinhard Kromer, executive vice president telematics, Peiker.
"At the outset of this strategic relationship with Peiker, we believed Clarity captured the attention of the Telematics world here in Detroit and in Stuttgart. Together there is no denying the ability of our companies to deliver a superior voice-interface solution for the demanding automobile customer," said Ray Gunn, president and CEO, Clarity Technologies Inc. "The combination of the industry's leading software technology, brilliant scientists and experienced hands-free engineers leaves no room for companies to select anyone but Clarity Technologies when they need to deliver best-in- class 'Hands Free' communication products," said Gunn.
