Aura Appoints New Director of Distribution
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 11 -- Aura Systems, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: AURA) today announced an important addition to its staff through the appointment of Denise Schneider as director of distribution. In this newly created position, Ms. Schneider will report to Marcus Rufer, Aura vice president, product support division. In this capacity, Ms. Schneider will focus on expanding Aura distribution channels, both domestic and international, and increasing the level of support for Aura distributors and customers worldwide.

In this newly created position, Ms. Schneider will be responsible for the development of dealer and distribution channels, dealer training, marketing and sales support, and dealer agreements and contract management. She has over 12 years of automotive experience with leading global organizations including General Motors, Electronic Data Systems, and Honeywell. Most recently, Schneider was the marketing and customer support manager at Garrett Engine Boosting Systems, a division of Honeywell Inc., which manufactures and markets products in over fifteen countries. Prior to Garrett, Ms. Schneider held positions of increasing responsibility with General Motors. These positions included assistant business development manager for General Motors Service in Germany and account manager for GM Parts consulting for dealerships in the New England area. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in marketing from Western Illinois University. Ms. Schneider will be located at Aura Systems' headquarters in El Segundo, California.
