Cummins Announces Live Webcast Smith Barney Citigroup Industrial Manufacturing Conference Presentation

COLUMBUS, Ind.--March 8, 2004--Cummins Inc. said today it plans to webcast its March 10 presentation at the Smith Barney Citigroup Global Industrial Manufacturing Conference in New York City.

Tim Solso, Cummins Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will detail the Company's direction and business plans beginning at 2:15 EST. He will conclude at about 2:55 p.m.
