Texas Man Wins NASCAR Opportunity
NASCAR intensity is contagious! Drivers aren't the only ones to feel the

Duck® brand duct tape sticks lucky NASCAR fan in the pit as
"Duct Tape Man for a Day"
-Sweepstakes winner to join NASCAR driver
Jimmie Johnson's crew as honorary member for one race-
CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 2004 ? Duck brand duct tape has named Rob Dukich
of Copperas Cove, Texas, the grand prize winner of the company's "Duct
Tape Man for a Day" Sweepstakes. As the winner, Dukich will join
NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson's crew as an honorary member during one
race next year, thanks to Duck brand duct tape, Lowe's Home Improvement
Warehouse, and Hendrick Motorsports.
The "Duct Tape Man for a Day" Sweepstakes will award Dukich and a
guest round-trip airfare, accommodations and tickets to a professional
stock car race at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C., on May 30,
2004. The pair will also receive race-day shirts, $1,000 cash,
windbreakers, and one case of Duck® brand 200MPH Racing Tape®, from
Henkel Consumer Adhesives, Inc., the official duct tape supplier of
Team Lowe's Racing.
"I was overwhelmed to hear that I had won," said Dukich, who has
never been to a live NASCAR event. "I never could have imagined that
duct tape would send me to my first race and give me the chance to meet
Jimmie Johnson, one of my favorite drivers. I guess it can do
everything."
Second prize winner Ed Wentz of Lima, Ohio, and third prize winner
John Easton of Rockwall, Texas, will each win a Team Lowe's Racing and
Duck brand duct tape prize package. In total, more than 18,000 entries
were received for the contest, and 13 prizes were awarded. Additional

Jimmie Johnson, driver of the #48 car, was the winner of the 2003
Winston All-Star Race and the Coca Cola 600, both held at Lowe's Motor
Speedway in Charlotte, N.C. Johnson drives for Hendrick Motorsports in
the Jeff Gordon-owned car.
