Autosport Development Teams Up With GMAC Commercial Finance
GMAC to promote business-to-business relations through motorsports
Detroit - March 3, 2004 – Autosport Development announced today they
will partner with GMAC Commercial Finance as co-sponsor on the #5 GMAC
Commercial Finance / Trenton Forging GTO for the 2004 SPEED World
Challenge GT Series and a six-race hospitality program.
"It's an honor to have the prestige of a company like GMAC Commercial
Finance in our corner," said Autosport Development driver, Stu Hayner.
"This is an important step in the growth of our program. We're really
looking forward to showing them the excitement of World Challenge GT
racing and demonstrating how we can help them grow their business. This
is great for Autosport Development and it's great for the SPEED World
Challenge GT Series. We're going to work hard to make it great for
GMAC Commercial Finance."
GMAC Commercial Finance, considered a leader in its segment of the
financial services market, provides accounts receivable management and
financing, asset-based lending, equipment finance/leasing, retail
financing, structured financing, and supply chain management services
to a wide variety of clients in diverse industries. Loan facilities are
in the $2 million to $200 million range. With locations in the United
States, Canada, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, the Company is
positioned to provide lending services worldwide.
Hayner, after a fourteen-year hiatus from the SPEED World Challenge
Series where he previously had two wins, is excited about getting back
to the competitiveness of the Series.
“I’m really looking forward to running the SPEED World Challenge Series
this year,” said Hayner. “The World Challenge Series is without a
doubt the best road racing competition in the US. Considering all the
options, we felt that this is a great series to grow our new program.
The rules appear structured to provide parity and close racing. While
I’m confident we will be very competitive, I know we have a lot of work
and development to do before we see that first win.”
In association with Trenton Forging, Autosport Development will compete
as part of the SPEED World Challenge GT Series. Hayner, will debut the
Autosport Development #5 GTO GMAC Commercial Finance logo at the
Series' Sebring event March 17, 2004. Hayner’s fans will be able to
catch all the World Challenge Series races this year on SPEED. All
events are nationally televised on SPEED channel (formerly
Speedvision).
