Diamond Powersports' Sales Up 127% for the Month of February
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 2 -- Diamond Powersports Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: DPWS) is pleased to announce that the company has just finished another record month for sales and gross profit. The company finished the month of February very strong with sales up 127% from the previous year and gross profit up 218% during the same period.
Diamond Powersports recorded sales for February 2004 of $86,687, up 127% from sales of $38,178 during February 2003. In addition, Diamond Powersports' gross profit increased by 218% from just $16,298 in February 2003 to $51,904 for this past February.
"What's remarkable is that we have been able to increase sales while still maintaining a gross profit margin of well over 50%," stated Diamond Powersports CEO, Pierre Elliott.
Diamond Powersports recently completed a successful Dealer Expo in Indianapolis from which they have already received $50,000 in purchase orders in just one week. Diamond Powersports' management is expecting more than $200,000 in orders as a result of this show.
"Based upon the results of the Dealer Expo, March should be another record month. We are well on our way to a profitable year," stated Pierre Elliott, Diamond Powersports.
