Sting with Oscar Night Hybrid Vehicle

February 2004 (Newstream) -- Sting gets into a Toyota Prius the day before the Academy Awards. He is among several nominees and presenters, including Charlize Theron, Marcia Gay Harden, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Robin Williams, Will Ferrell and Jack Black, who are taking the gas-electric hybrids instead of gas guzzling limos to the Academy Awards as part of Global Green USA's 2nd Annual "Red Carpet -- Green Cars" effort. The stars want to show how we can decrease our dependence on fossil fuels, reduce air pollution and stem climate change.
