TI Automotive Continues Its Global Realignment
WARREN, Mich., Feb. 27, 2004 -- TI Automotive, the world's leading supplier of automotive fluid storage and delivery systems, has combined its regional operations for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC).
The newly formed team will be globally responsible for applications engineering, technology and program management for the company's portfolio of HVAC products, including A/C lines; accumulators; receivers/dryers; formed heater and radiator hoses, and co-tube and flexible tubes.
"The globalization of our HVAC business unit provides many opportunities to leverage our expertise," said Rich Kolpasky, president of TI Automotive's Global Fluid Carrying Systems Division. "Honing our operations streamlines the product development process and, in the end, our customers will benefit from innovative new products brought to market more quickly."
Tim Kuppler has been named Global HVAC vice president, reporting to Kolpasky. Kuppler has been with TI Automotive for more than 12 years and was most recently the company's vice president and general manager of HVAC, North America.
