Jaguar and Land Rover Recommend Trafficmaster's Smartnav to Their Customers

CRANFIELD, England, February 27 --

Trafficmaster Plc, announces that Jaguar and Land Rover, both part of the Ford Premier Automotive Group, will from today offer Smartnav to its customers as their recommended dealer fit satellite navigation system. Smartnav will be available through Land Rover's 133 and Jaguar's 100 UK dealerships

Smartnav operates with a single button on the car dashboard and the driver enters his destination by speaking to a call centre operator (Smartnav PA). A central computer then calculates the best route taking into account Trafficmaster's unique traffic information. This is then downloaded digitally into the car and the motorist is given automatic turn-by-turn instructions to his destination.
