US Fuel Cell Council Provides Spanish, Portuguese Translations of Free Fuel Cell Newsletters
WASHINGTON--Feb. 2, 20046, 2004--Translations of two free publications by the U.S. Fuel Cell Council are now available on the organization's web site. The Council's monthly Fuel Cell Connection newsletter tracks headlines for government-funded (federal and state) fuel cell and hydrogen research, development, and demonstration projects. Starting with the November 2003 issue, the newsletter is now available in both Spanish and Portuguese versions.
The quarterly Fuel Cell Catalyst newsletter is a four-page, theme-based publication. The Winter 2004 issue, with the theme "2003 End of Year Review," will be the first issue to be translated into Spanish.
"The establishment of the Spanish Fuel Cell Association and the increased interest in fuel cells in Latin America has demonstrated to us the need for translations of our fuel cell newsletters, " said Bernadette Geyer, editor of both newsletters for the US Fuel Cell Council. "The Council recognizes the importance of communicating news to our international allies in this industry."
The Department of Energy through the National Energy Technology Laboratory is providing financial support for the translations.
