ActionView International, Inc. Launches Test in Canada's Largest Automotive and Hardware Products Retailer
POINT ROBERTS, Wash.--Feb. 2, 20045, 2004--Actionview International, Inc. ("ActionView") (OTCBB:AVWI) has secured an initial installation of its 4'x 6' backlit scrolling sign system at the Showcase Store of Canada's largest automotive and hardware products retailer.With 450 stores coast-to-coast, the Retailer is the best-known and most successful automotive products retailer in the country. The company is also the largest independent retailer of gasoline in Canada and has shown initial interest in ActionView's scrolling billboard technology for its 200 gas bars.
Both the Retailer's management and vendors will have an opportunity to assess the technology's application in both 'way-finding' and display advertising modes.
The placement of ActionView scrolling signs in this environment is focused at providing advertisers with the best possible exposure opportunity and an ongoing revenue stream for the Retailer as a result of the ActionView revenue-sharing program.
Capable of displaying 12 individual life-size, backlit messages in a single sign, ActionView's billboards have been successfully tested in retail store chains internationally. These tests have provided conclusive evidence that product sales have increased in each retail store displaying the product advertisement using the ActionView scrolling sign system.
