SAE World Congress Press Pre-Registration Deadline Extended
Warrendale, PA - February 24, 2004 - SAE International has extended the pre-registration deadline for journalists who are planning to attend the SAE World Congress, March 8-11, 2004, at Cobo Center, Detroit, MI. To date, credentials for over 200 journalists have been verified.
Pre-registration will be available through noon (EST) Friday, February 27, 2004. On-line registration accessed via the following link: http://www.sae.org/congress/about/journalist-information.htm . Journalists may also register by phone (toll free) at 1-877-723-2664. Please allow one (1) week from your submittal for credential verification.
After Friday, February 27, 2004, all registration must be conducted on- site. Times and locations are listed below. Members of the press who choose to register on-site are asked to have a photo I.D. and either an employer- issued I.D. or formal letter of assignment from a recognized public media source.

Exhibit hours for the SAE 2004 World Congress are: March 8,9,10 - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and March 11 - 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
