Toyota Supports Kentucky Community Technical College System

February 23, 2004 -- Georgetown, KY -- Toyota has a strong relationship with the Kentucky Community Technical College System (KCTCS). Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky, Inc., recently made an installment donation ($50,000), the second of a five-year pledge. This contribution is split 50/50 with Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America. The total amount of the pledge is $500,000 over a five-year period. The donations will help develop the Center for Excellence in Automotive Manufacturing. This Center will train and educate students for the automotive related workforce. TMMK's donation would be used to build and accelerate the development of the Center through planning and budgeting for long-range implementation and expansion of the Center concept.
