February 27-March 7, 2004 at Carl's Speed Shop
LAS VEGAS, Feb. 19 -- Las Vegas Trikes ( www.lvtrikes.com ), manufacturer of luxury three-wheeled hot rod vehicles, will be exhibiting February 27, 2004 through March 7, 2004 during Daytona Bike Week at Carl's Speed Shop, 390 North Beach Street in Daytona Beach, Florida. Bike week hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Las Vegas Trikes will be located in Section C, Booths 16-17.
Rich LaFontaine, general manager of Las Vegas Trikes, refers to the Las Vegas Trikes experience as, "The most fun you have had on three wheels since you were four years old." Las Vegas Trikes are featured in the current issue of Rumble magazine ( www.rumblemagazine.net ).
Trike owners include professional basketball player, LA Laker Shaquille O'Neill (Shaq), and consumers from across the country. Shaq owns two trikes -- both "Cyclone" models -- that have been featured on MTV's "Cribs " program. The Trikes are front-engine mounted, V8-powered, 15-foot long performance vehicles manufactured with cad-cam technology for safety and stability. Las Vegas Trikes models include Thunder, Lightning, Cyclone and the Widowmaker.
Prices range from $42,500 for a 330 horsepower Thunder model, up to $95,000 for the 880 horsepower Widowmaker. Since each trike is custom-made, many options are available. Popular options include chrome drive shafts, satellite stereo packages, rear bench seats, and neon lighting packages.
In other news, Las Vegas Trikes will exhibit its Widowmaker model at the 32nd Annual "Rats Hole Custom Bike Show and World Biker Build Off" www.ratshole.com on March 6, 2004. This show will be at the Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Widowmaker features more than 880 horsepower. With the nitrous hooked up, this creature of a vehicle (called "The Hulk" for its color and graphics of the famed cartoon with the same name) now boasts more than 1100 horsepower.
