Interior Motives Design Awards 2004 is Live!

LONDON, February 19 -- - Countdown to the 2004 competition begins; announcement of sponsors and prizes

Interior Motives magazine is pleased to announce that the countdown to this year's Interior Motives Design Awards 2004 has begun. Registration for the awards opened at the beginning of February and will run until then end of March.

This year's theme, "Our Theory of Evolution - Celebrate the Interior Revolution!", aims to emphasize the importance of automotive interior design and how it has accelerated over the last decade. At the same time, Interior Motives hopes to encourage young talented designers into this exciting industry to promote the continuing evolution of interior design.

The awards, which will take place in Paris on 24 September, have already attracted sponsorship from Intier Automotive, as Premier Sponsor, and Alcantara Spa, Seton Leather, Rieter Automotive Systems and Waeco International as gold sponsors.

For those people visiting Le Mondial de L'Automobile 2004 (The Paris Motor Show), the awards night is a great chance to talk about the latest concept and production cars, as well as being the best opportunity to discuss design trends in the automotive industry and catch up with colleagues.

The venue for the awards ceremony is yet to be announced but already promises to be the interior design community party gathering of the year if last year's event is anything to go by.

The awards evening will begin with a cocktail and canape hour. Then, during the prize-giving ceremony, Interior Motives editor Ryan Borroff will introduce the Awards' presenters and winners. Together with our industry sponsors, Interior Motives magazine will present prize money totalling $9,000 to the winners. After the ceremony, exquisite food, drinks, live music and dance will give those in attendance a great networking opportunity to meet other attendees, nominees, winners and judges.
