American Commerce Solutions, Inc. Announces Results of West Coast Trip

BARTOW, Fla., Feb. 17, 2004 -- American Commerce Solutions, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: AACS) today announced the results of the recent west coast trip by Daniel L. Hefner, Chief Executive Officer and President.

"My eight day trip to the west coast was a great success and will pay dividends as we move forward with our plans for growth through acquisition. The concentration of the trip was in and around Las Vegas and San Diego, and included meetings with professionals at all levels, as well as current stockholders in both American Commerce Solutions and a fiberglass recycling company targeted for acquisition by ACS," said American Commerce Solutions' Chief Executive Officer and President, Daniel L. Hefner.

Hefner continued, "In order to affect our business plan for growth by acquisition, we will need to have funding available in sufficient quantity and under acceptable terms. This trip helped to solidify the commitments that have been made to the AACS Board of Directors and insure that acceptable funding is in place."

"The second purpose for this trip was for me to meet face to face with some of the stockholders in the fiberglass recycling firm, with which we are negotiating to acquire an interest. This meeting took place in Las Vegas. I was met with excitement and commitment to continue to support the company and American Commerce Solutions as an acquirer. A follow up meeting will be scheduled with another group of stockholders in Ohio in a few weeks," Hefner said.

According to Hefner, American Commerce Solutions received verbal commitments from three funding sources from the San Diego, California area. In addition, he met with an investor relations firm, an SEC attorney, investment bankers, brokers and numerous other industry professionals.
