Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Signs Technical Assistance Agreement With Daekyung of South Korea

NOVI, Mich., Feb. 17, 2004 -- Cooper Tire & Rubber Company's operating group, Cooper-Standard Automotive, has signed a technical assistance agreement with Daekyung Chemical Corporation of South Korea. Cooper-Standard's NVH Control Systems Division will provide design and engineering development support for engine mount systems on three future Hyundai and Kia vehicle platforms.
