Goodyear Files Form 8-K
AKRON, Ohio, Feb. 11, 2004 -- The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company announced that it is filing a Form 8-K with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission today.
The Form 8-K provides information to potential lenders under Goodyear's proposed $650 million term loan, which was recently announced. This information may also be disclosed in connection with any future capital markets transaction. Among other items, the 8-K updates Goodyear's investigation into possible improper accounting in its overseas operations and the ongoing SEC investigation related to the company's restatement of prior- period financial results.
