CORALVILLE, Iowa--Feb. 1, 20040, 2004--Heartland Express, Inc. announced that Russell A. Gerdin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, John P. Cosaert, Chief Financial Officer, and Michael Gerdin, Vice-President of Regional Operations will be making a presentation to investors at the Deutsche Bank Global Transportation Conference in Naples, Florida. The presentation will begin at 10:45 A.M. (EST).

Heartland Express, Inc. is an irregular route truckload carrier of general commodities.
