Gentex Names Los Vice President of Human Resources
ZEELAND, Mich., Feb. 9, 2004 -- Gentex Corporation , the Zeeland, Michigan-based manufacturer of automatic-dimming rearview mirrors and commercial fire protection products, announces the appointment of Bruce Los as Vice President of Human Resources. Los brings over 20 years of experience in human resource management to his new role at Gentex. He joined Gentex in January, replacing John VanHaitsma who will be retiring this spring after 27 years at the Company.
Los began his career at Prince Corporation (acquired by Johnson Controls, Inc. in 1996) in 1977, serving in various leadership positions including Vice President of Human Resources for four years.
Los has a bachelor of arts degree in Economics from Calvin College. He currently serves on many local volunteer boards including HEDCOR (Holland Area Economic Development Corporation), Lakeshore Advantage, West Michigan Works, and Davenport University Foundation. Los resides in Holland with his wife, Deb.
