Jamie McMurray Launches New Website
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., (February 5, 2004) --- NASCAR NEXTEL Cup driver
Jamie McMurray announced today the official launch of his new website,
www.jamiemcmurray.com <http://www.jamiemcmurray.com/> . McMurray, along
with website designer 51 Sports, hopes the new site draws in new NASCAR
fans, as well as provides a solid platform for McMurray's current fan
base.
"51 Sports has done a great job in developing this new website for me,"
McMurray said. "They've been working really hard on getting this new
site ready for my fans, and I think they've done a great job. There's
going to be a lot of new and exciting things that we're planning for the
website this year, and hopefully all the new changes will better connect
me with my fans."
"In developing this website, my goal was to provide a resource for all
the Jamie McMurray fans to connect with one another and have one place
to get all the correct, official news and information on me," McMurray
added. "Hopefully the fans will enjoy the new site."
McMurray, who pilots the No. 42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge for Chip Ganassi
Racing with Felix Sabates in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, was named the
2003 NASCAR Raybestos Rookie of the Year.
The Joplin, Mo. native posted five top-five and 13 top-10 finishes
during the 2003 season, along with scoring one Bud Pole Award. McMurray
finished 13th in the final 2003 NASCAR Cup point standings.
