TRD CONTINUES TO POWER TOYOTA CELICAS IN IPOWERACING DASH SERIES
                                             
       DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 6, 2004) - Toyota Racing Development (TRD),
U.S.A. will again power Toyota Celicas at the Daytona International Speedway as the
IPOWERacing Dash Series opens its season Sunday, Feb. 8 in the IPOWERacing 150.
Among the Toyota-powered racers will be a former Dash series champion and the son
of a Toyota Tundra NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series racer.  TRD will also continue its
contingency award program for the series in 2004.
       TRD first began supplying engines to the Dash series in 2000 with its debut in
the series formerly known as the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series.  Last year, the
program helped earn Robert Huffman - who will drive the No. 12 Toyota Tundra this
year in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series - his fifth-career Dash championship.
Over the last three years, Toyota power has earned 11 victories, including the last two
at Daytona by Huffman.
       Jake Hobgood, the 2002 Dash champion, returns for his second season behind
the wheel of the Germain Automotive Group Toyota Celica this year.  Hobgood earned
a victory and a pole position in 2003 on his way to a third-place finish overall.
       Brandon Ward will start his third season racing a Toyota and his first in the Harris
Trucking Toyota Celica.  The team is a partnership between Ward, Craftsman Truck
Series owner Jim Harris, and Tundra racer Huffman.  Ward finished the 2003 season in
fifth place overall and earned a Dash series victory at Bristol in 2001.
       Dustin Skinner, the son of No. 42 Toyota Tundra Craftsman Truck Series driver
Mike Skinner, will be making his debut in the IPOWERacing Dash Series at Daytona.
The 18-year-old Skinner will be piloting the Race Day Water Toyota Celica.
       Wade Day and Highland Motorsports will also be returning to the Dash series this
year in the Lopez Financial Toyota Celica.  Highland will be in it's third year with Toyota
power and Day in his second season with the team.

       TRD will continue a generous contingency award program for Toyota-powered
drivers in the IPOWERacing Dash Series that dates back to 2000.  It will offer $2,000 for
a feature event victory and $1,000 for second place.  Prize money is distributed to the
top three Toyota-powered finishers regardless over overall position.
       "The IPOWERacing DASH Series is proud to have TRD continuing its
involvement with our series," said Randy Claypoole, executive vice president of the
IPOWERacing Dash Series.  We are excited that our five-time champion, Robert
Huffman, has been selected to run in a Toyota in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
and will cheer him on in 2004."
       The 60-lap IPOWERacing 150 will run at 3:45 p.m. EST, following NASCAR
Nextel Cup Daytona 500 qualifying, and will be covered live on SPEED Channel.
