DealerTrack Rolls Out DMS Integration for eContracting
MELVILLE, N.Y.--Feb. 5, 2004--DealerTrack, Inc., a technology services company that speeds the total automotive financing process through its DealerTrack(TM) platform, today announced the roll-out of DMS Integration for its eContracting product. This will provide automotive dealers with a seamless end-to-end auto financing process, from credit application through to contract.DealerTrack eContracting, launched in late 2002, allows dealers to electronically secure customer signatures and electronically transmit contracts and other required data directly to participating financing sources. This process eliminates time-consuming paperwork and reduces contracts-in-transit, while allowing dealerships to receive funding as quickly as the same day.
This new integration with top DMS platforms from Reynolds and Reynolds and ADP will now further streamline the electronic contracting process - eliminating the need for dealers to re-enter contract data into DealerTrack.
"Further reducing any double-data entry required between the DMS and DealerTrack offers tremendous benefit to dealers," said Edward Jen, vice president of product management of DealerTrack, Inc. "This powerful new functionality streamlines the total end-to-end auto finance process. Dealers who use eContracting with DMS integration will find the process to be even more efficient and virtually error-free."
Integration of Reynolds and Reynolds and ADP DMS platforms with DealerTrack's F&I Tool Suite already allows dealers to import and export credit application data with one simple click. By adding DMS Integration to eContracting, dealers can tap into all the DMS functions they need to build the right contract terms for an individual customer, while still leveraging DealerTrack to fully automate contract transmission and finalization.
"Our work with DealerTrack helps us to offer our customers a more seamless F&I process that is linked tightly with their other core applications," said Mike Berry, senior vice president, Reynolds Services Group. "We see this as another tool offered by Reynolds and Reynolds to save our customers time and improve their cash flow."
"Integrating into our full Front-end Suite allows our customers to seamlessly connect with their financing sources for an improved contracting process," said Bob Karp, senior vice president of eCommerce, ADP Dealer Services. "This integration will help us provide a new level of service and convenience to our dealers."
Dealers already using the DealerTrack eContracting product have expressed strong interest in a link between the product and top DMS platforms.
Integration with Reynolds and Reynolds will be available to DealerTrack eContracting customers starting in February. ADP integration will follow shortly, with availability beginning in March.
