What: The Stand By Your Van contest officially got underway at the 2004
Chicago Auto Show with a dramatic introduction of 20 contestants.
After the contestants made their grand entrance and took their
designated places, each one ceremoniously placed a gloved hand on
a minivan. Under the watchful eyes of judges, complete with an
oversized clock hovering above them, each contestant is competing
to stand longer than any of the other contestants. The last
person standing will drive home in their choice of a brand new
2005 Chrysler Town & Country or Dodge Grand Caravan with the Stow
n' Go seating and storage system. Stow n' Go is a minivan-first
feature that allows customers to fold both second- and third-row
seats into the floor in approximately 30 seconds.

Who: Jason Vines, Vice President, Communications, Chrysler Group

           Tim Mason, Comedy Sportz

Twenty contestants, ranging from a Chicago firefighter to a
mother of two who runs her own restaurant, have been selected
from hundreds of minivan enthusiasts who applied to participate
in the Stand By Your Van competition. Each brings their own
style and strategy to win the contest.

minivan-first Stow 'n Go seating and storage system, Chrysler
