Nissan U.S. Sales 25% in January 2004

DETROIT, Feb 3, 2004; Reuters reported that Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. said on Tuesday its U.S. vehicle sales rose 25.7 percent to 72,164 cars and trucks in January.

Nissan said its results were boosted by sales of 4,035 of its new Titan full-size pickup truck, and 2,330 of its new Armada full-size sport utility vehicle.

Nissan adjusted the percentage change in sales to account for 26 selling days in January versus 25 last year.
