Trafficmaster, Europcar and Mercedes Benz in First of its Kind Satellite Navigation Partnership

CRANFIELD, England, February 3 -- A three way partnership between leading journey management company, Trafficmaster, Europcar, the global provider of mobility services and Mercedes Benz, will provide car rental drivers with Smartnav, the latest satellite navigation system that dynamically guides motorists around traffic jams.

Europcar will be offering Smartnav as a standard feature on all new Mercedes Benz cars in their UK rental fleet. Europcar currently take about 1,400 Mercedes Benz cars per annum onto their fleet and each will be installed with Smartnav as standard. Europcar customers will be able to experience the benefits of Smartnav, included within the cost of the car hire.
