Westinghouse Digital LCD TVs Now Available Through MITO Corp.; Westinghouse Digital Expands LCD TVs into RV, Motor Home and Marine Markets

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.--Feb. 3, 2004--Westinghouse Digital Electronics, dedicated to making digital entertainment devices available to mainstream consumers, today announced that its line of 30-, 27-, 20- and 15-inch LCD TVs are available through MITO Corp.

Based in Elkhart, Ind., MITO is an electronic entertainment component supplier and system integrator for RV and marine OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). MITO also distributes electronic entertainment and appliance products through catalog companies, expeditors, car dealerships and auto parts stores.

"This agreement with MITO extends the opportunity for consumers to enjoy the superior digital entertainment experience Westinghouse Digital flat-panel LCD TVs deliver," said Douglas Woo, president of Westinghouse Digital, based in City of Industry. "Our compact, thin-profile TVs offer a wide viewing angle, fit well in small spaces and are light enough to be mounted on the wall, making them ideal for recreational vehicles, motor homes, boats and yachts.

"Westinghouse Digital TVs also offer multiple entertainment options, enabling consumers to watch broadcast, cable and satellite TV, HDTV, DVD and VHS movies, play video games, surf the Internet or even to work on a PC while watching television."

The extra wide viewing angles of Westinghouse LCD TVs make it possible to see a clear picture from almost anywhere in the room, and the ultra-bright display and superior contrast ratio deliver vivid colors and bright images in almost any lighting condition. The industry-leading 16-millisecond response time provides clear images for fast action in motion video games, movies and sports.

"Westinghouse Digital LCD TVs offer our customers the latest in digital entertainment from a brand they know and trust, and will be especially appealing to our RV, motor home and marine customers, where maximizing space is an important issue," said Dan Maloney, vice president of sales for MITO Corp. "Westinghouse TVs also deliver a variety of digital entertainment choices from a single, compact platform. This combination of stylish design and leading-edge technology is one of the best values on the consumer electronics market today."

Currently, the Westinghouse 15-, 20-, 27- and 30-inch LCD TVs are available through MITO Corp., J&R, Handy TV-Appliance, or through Metron North America, MARTA, Almo and AM Merchandising dealers nationwide.
