DENSO Announces Organizational Changes

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 29, 2004 -- DENSO International America, Inc. announced two executive promotions within its Marketing and Engineering Division, effective January 16, 2004.

  

John Camp, formerly senior vice president, Marketing, has assumed the position of senior advisor reporting to the president. In addition, Terry Helgesen has been promoted to senior vice president, Marketing.

Camp joined DENSO in 1992 and has held key executive positions in sales, marketing and engineering throughout his career. In his new role, Camp will maintain industry contacts and report to the president regarding practices, developments and trends within the automotive/supplier industry.

Terry Helgesen joined DENSO in 1985 as a sales manager. His work has included a two-year assignment at DENSO's headquarters in Japan where he interfaced on a global basis as an assistant general manager in the International Sales Department. As senior vice president of Marketing, Helgesen will have overall sales and marketing responsibilities for General Motors, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Heavy Duty and Japanese Car Group sales as well as Quality.
