ArvinMeritor Announces the Resignation of President and COO Terry O'Rourke
TROY, Mich., Jan. 28, 2004 -- ArvinMeritor, Inc. today announced that Terry O'Rourke is resigning from his position as president and chief operating officer (COO), as well as from the Board of Directors, to pursue opportunities outside of the company. The COO position will be eliminated.

O'Rourke joined the organization as president of the company's Light Vehicle Systems (LVS) business group in March 1999, from a position as group vice president and president of Lear Corporation's Ford Division. With more than 25 years in the automotive industry, he served also in a number of management roles with the Ford Motor Company. O'Rourke was named ArvinMeritor COO and a member of the Board of Directors in May 2002.
