DataJungle Software Powers 'AMMO' for General Motors and R.L. Polk

OTTAWA, Jan. 27, 2004 -- DataJungle Software (BULLETIN BOARD: DJSW) , a leading developer of highly enriched enterprise business intelligence solutions, today announced that its software is being used by General Motors and R.L. Polk & Co. as the reporting solution for a used vehicle business management product called AMMO (Analysis Mapping & Market Opportunities). AMMO bundles Polk's comprehensive used vehicle database with DataJungle's highly visual and interactive reporting software. Polk and General Motors are jointly distributing the product to GM's extensive dealer network.

AMMO is a powerful Web-based marketing and inventory management reporting solution that helps dealers to better manage inventory and to drive revenue and profitability for their used vehicle businesses. AMMO allows dealers to:

  -- Find the best used vehicle sales opportunities in their markets;
  -- View sales and penetration rates by zip code, segment, make, model,
     model year, etc.
  -- Discover which used vehicles are most profitable;
  -- Learn which used vehicles and trucks turnover the fastest; and
  -- Determine which models and how many vehicles they should stock to
     optimize sales and inventory.

Each dealer can access the latest information relevant to its specific sales region by simply logging into a secure Web site. Once logged in, dealers can view a summary of the most critical information or explore the data in more detail through easy-to-use interactive tables, charts, and maps. The DataJungle solution was uniquely able to provide the sophisticated functionality, high impact presentation, and ease of use required by General Motors and R.L. Polk.

"The selection of DataJungle software to be the reporting engine for such a strategic product for both Polk and General Motors, speaks to the flexibility and unique value our software offers," said Denes Bartakovich, DataJungle founder and executive vice-president of products and marketing. "With over 7,500 GM dealers in North America, the market potential for AMMO is very significant. We look forward to building on this relationship with both Polk and GM."

AMMO will be demonstrated at the annual National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention in Las Vegas, which runs from January 31 to February 3, 2004.
