Infiniti Announces Pricing on All-New US Built QX56 Full-Size SUV
GARDENA, Calif. (January 23, 2004) – Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan North America, Inc., today announced pricing on the powerful 2004 Infiniti QX56 full-size luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV). The QX56 is offered in one well-equipped model, including standard features such as a 5.6-liter DOHC V8 engine producing 315 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque, 5-speed automatic transmission, Sojourner leather-appointed seating surfaces, DVD-based navigation system and power-operated rear tailgate. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the QX56 AWD version is $50,400, while the rear-wheel drive starts at an MSRP of $47,400. The QX56 goes on sale at all Infiniti dealers nationwide in February 2004.
In addition, the QX56 offers a Smart Vision package with the first-in-class RearView Monitor and Intelligent Cruise Control. As evidence of its high level of standard luxury features, only a few additional options and packages are available, including a Second-row Split Bench Seat, Infiniti DVD Mobile Entertainment System, and Power Sunroof.

As the latest addition to Infiniti’s stylish lineup, the new QX56 becomes the fourth V8-powered Infiniti, joining the Q45 and M45 sedans and FX45 crossover SUV, and the third to feature all-wheel drive, along with the FX and the newly introduced 2004 G35 Sedan AWD model.
The new QX56, which is the first Infiniti model built in North America, is designed to provide luxury on a grand scale, with eight-passenger seating (seven-passenger with 2nd row captains chairs), progressive styling, advanced technology and exceptional on-road and off-road performance.
