Aftermarket Product Maker Lund International Announces Executive Appointments

DULUTH, Ga., Jan. 22, 2004 -- Lund International, one of the country's premier automotive accessories manufacturers, today announced that effective immediately, Mr. Edmund J. Schwartz becomes Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Lund International.

Mr. Schwartz formerly worked for Lund International as Chief Financial Officer from September 1999 to November 2001. In previous positions, Mr. Schwartz served as Chief Financial Officer of a large international public company and a leading consumer goods manufacturer.

Mr. Reginald D. Fields continues as Vice President of Finance reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Lund International designs, manufactures and markets a wide variety of appearance products for the automotive aftermarket, including window vents, visors, hood shields, running boards, bed covers, spoilers, toolboxes, cargo management and other accessories. Those products are sold under the brand names Auto Ventshade(TM), Belmor(R), Deflecta-Shield(R), Lund(R), and Nifty(TM). Headquartered in Duluth, Georgia, the company has eight locations and more than 1,000 employees.
