Tecstar to Feature Guardian Alert on Hummer H2

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 22, 2004 -- Sense Technologies Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: SNSG) today announced that Michigan-based Tecstar/Wheel to Wheel is presently introducing the Guardian Alert on its latest line of Hummer H2s. The Guardian Alert will be offered as a component of its specialty package, which includes a navigation system, tire sensing system and the Guardian Alert. This program is scheduled to begin in early 2004 and run for approximately four years.

Tecstar/Wheel to Wheel was founded in 1995 by highly qualified and experienced "car guys" who subsequently formed three companies; Wheel to Wheel Inc., Wheel to Wheel Powertrain and Tecstar LLC (a joint venture between Wheel to Wheel and Starcraft Automotive Group). These companies provide the solid framework for one of today's leading vehicle system designers and integrators of new body styles, mid-cycle enhancements, specialty products, and high- performance engines and drivetrains.

Tecstar/Wheel to Wheel continues to expand its capabilities in the area of specialty vehicle concepts and designs with the quality certifications of ISO 9001, QS 9001, QS 14001 and TS16949 to back it up. Its second-stage manufacturing and assembly capacity now includes multiple facilities located close to the OEMs that they support. Not only are they designing and assembling production vehicles, but they also build high-performance and racing engines for cars, boats and motorcycles.

Sense Technologies holds exclusive patents on an automotive Doppler radar system that alerts drivers to potential hazards while backing. The Guardian Alert(R) Doppler Awareness System has a sensor that mounts at the rear of a vehicle and a warning indicator inside the vehicle. The system is maintenance free and can detect objects behind a backing vehicle in all weather and lighting conditions. The product can be fitted on existing vehicles as well as new cars and trucks. Thousands of Guardian Alert systems are in use on commercial fleets as well as on passenger vehicles today.
