R. L. Polk & Co. Establishes Commercial Vehicle Advisory Board

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 20, 2004 -- R. L. Polk & Co. announced today the formation of its first-ever Commercial Vehicle Advisory Board. This unique board is charged with advising on Polk's strategic position in the Commercial Vehicle sector, consulting on Polk's Commercial Vehicle product offerings, providing input on marketing communication strategies for the Commercial Vehicle sector and supporting Polk's Commercial Vehicle sales team in growing customer relationships.

Polk's Commercial Vehicle Advisory Board consists of individuals who have a wealth of experience in both the business world and the Commercial Vehicle sector. The board includes: Ken Maust, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Bushings, Inc. and former Senior Manager Distributor Operations and Market Analysis for Detroit Diesel Corporation; Gordon Ulsh, president and CEO of FleetPride and former president and COO of Federal-Mogul; and Spencer Barnhart, Partner of J. Walter Thompson and formerly with various divisions of General Motors including Detroit Diesel, Allison and GMC Truck.
