Teradyne Diagnostic Solutions and T-Systems Develop an Integrated Diagnostic Environment for DaimlerChrysler

MANCHESTER, England--Jan. 1, 20042, 2004--Teradyne Diagnostic Solutions, Ltd, the automotive manufacturing solutions and diagnostics subsidiary of Teradyne, Inc. , is pleased to announce that Daimler Chrysler AG has selected Teradyne's GRADE-X Software for use as its next generation diagnostics authoring tool. Teradyne Diagnostic Solutions, along with its consortium partner T-Systems, a division of Deutsche Telekom, will utilize Diagnostic Solutions' GRADE-X software to develop an integrated diagnostic environment that will be used world wide in the service bays of Mercedes Benz Car Group and Mercedes Benz Commercial Vehicle Division dealers.

DaimlerChrysler chose Teradyne GRADE-X to keep up with the ever increasing amount of complex electronics in today's vehicles to provide best in class after sales service.
