GEICO Announces Four Officer Appointments
WASHINGTON, Jan. 12, 2004 -- GEICO's board of directors recently announced the promotions of four associates to officer positions. Mike Campbell is now vice president of corporate financial reporting; Bill McDonald, controller; Steve Parsons, assistant controller; and Todd Prigal, assistant controller.

In his new position as vice president, Mike Campbell assumes corporate financial reporting responsibilities for GEICO's major operating companies. He has served as associate controller since 1986.
Campbell joined GEICO in 1982 as manager of corporate financial reporting, and was promoted to director of corporate financial reporting in 1985. Campbell holds bachelor's degrees in economics and accounting from the University of Delaware.
Bill McDonald takes on the responsibilities of controller for GEICO operating units. He had been associate controller since 1986.
McDonald joined GEICO in 1979 as cost benefit administrator, and subsequently served as director of statutory accounting before assuming assistant controller duties. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Lock Haven University.
Steve Parsons becomes assistant controller for GEICO's operating companies. He has been director of corporate financial reporting since 1998.
Parsons joined GEICO in 1980 as a financial reporting accountant, and subsequently served as a senior financial reporting accountant. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Salisbury State College.
Todd Prigal is assistant controller for GEICO. He has been director of corporate taxes since 1993.
Prigal joined GEICO in 1989 as manager, tax compliance, and served in that position until assuming the director's duties. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a juris doctor degree from George Washington University.
