Morey Joins Kolbenschmidt Pierburg in North America

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 12, 2004 -- Julie A. Morey has been named director of communications and marketing for Kolbenschmidt Pierburg in North America.

Morey had been communications manager for MANN+HUMMEL USA, Inc., in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., since 1996. She previously had worked at Siemens Automotive in Auburn Hills, Mich., as a marketing coordinator.

In her new position at Kolbenschmidt Pierburg, Morey will be responsible for the company's North American public relations, advertising, sales promotion and event management activities, as well as internal communications.

A native of Ferndale, Mich., she holds a bachelor's degree in German with minors in communications and economics from Michigan State University in East Lansing.
