GM Announces January Marketing Program
Interest-Free APR Financing Rates for 60 Months Available on Most Products
DETROIT - General Motors Corp. today announced
its latest marketing program, which runs from January 8 through
March 31. GM is offering interest-free financing for five years
to qualified buyers on the purchase of most new 2004 GM cars
and trucks. Additionally, GM continued competitive customer
cash rebates on most 2004 vehicles. "GM started the new
year with a bang with 'Hot Button,' a chance to win one of a
thousand new GM cars and trucks simply by pushing the OnStar
button at neighborhood Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, HUMMER,
Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Saab and Saturn dealerships," said John
Smith, group vice president, GM North America Vehicle, Sales,
Service and Marketing. "The marketing programs announced today,
with zero percent financing for 60 months on most GM products
or cash rebates of up to $3,500, will make 'winners' of
everyone purchasing a 2004 GM vehicle." Cadillac models are excluded from the
offer of interest-free financing for five years. Other vehicles
excluded from the program include Chevrolet SSR, HUMMER H2 and
Pontiac GTO. See the chart below for additional
details. GM earlier announced its "Hot Button" promotion,
which runs through February 29, 2004. The "24-Hour Test Drive"
program continues through March 15, 2004. Following are
