Audiovox Partners With MobileToys To Provide Installation Services For Jensen Customers

LAS VEGAS CONVENTION CENTER - WINTER CES 2004 JENSEN BOOTH 1425

LAS VEGAS, and HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Jan. 8 -- Audiovox Electronics Corporation, a subsidiary of Audiovox Corporation , introduced its 2004 line-up of JENSEN products with something special inside every box, "an installer". Recognizing the importance of a professional installation, Audiovox has partnered with MobileToys' to provide and promote professional installation services to its JENSEN customers. Every JENSEN car audio product requiring installation will have a MobileToys InstallCard enclosed. The InstallCard will allow JENSEN customers who do not purchase installation at the time of sale, to save time and money by activating their enclosed InstallCard to get a professional local installation.

The InstallCard is supported by a nationwide network of professional mobile electronics installers, known as InstallerNet. The network maintains a website (www.InstallCard.com) for customers to activate and schedule their desired installation services. "InstallerNet is a proven installation solution that has performed more than 30,000 managed installations for our client partners," stated Tony Frangiosa, MobileToys President & CEO. As part of the agreement, authorized Audiovox and JENSEN installing dealers will be invited to join InstallerNet at no additional cost. They will be required to have at least two years installation experience and are, or become, MECP (mobile Electronics Certification Professional) certified.

According to Tom Malone, Audiovox Electronics Senior VP, Sales and Marketing, "This unique offering will allow our non installing retailers to offer their customers an installation solution and in effect reducing product returns caused by faulty or difficult do-it-yourself installations." The InstallCard is just one of many new concepts that Audiovox has developed to support its retailers in an effort to promote the new JENSEN brand.
