The new unit makes its public debut here today at the 2004 International Consumer Electronics Show (Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall, Booths #5206 and #5213).

The Delphi CD Audio System allows listeners to experience XM Satellite Radio through the Delphi XM SKYFi receiver and also receives AM/FM radio stations. Powered by an A/C adaptor or six D-cell batteries for complete portability, the Delphi system features a CD/MP3 player that can play CD/CDR/CD-RW and MP3-formatted CDs. The unit also has the ability to display the title of the song playing, name of the artist and the folder number on the LCD screen while playing MP3s.

Since its introduction one year ago, the SKYFi receiver has been the best selling satellite radio in history. Now Delphi offers this all-in-one unit to enhance the experience of XM Satellite Radio with a product that is feature- rich and easy to use.

"As a pioneer of automotive electronics, Delphi has the knowledge and expertise to lead in this market. We have moved quickly to provide our customers with a robust product that offers the features they expect and the functionality they deserve," said Francisco (Frank) A. Ordonez, president, Delphi Product & Service Solutions. "Audio enthusiasts demand a full-featured product. Delphi has designed this system with these special needs in mind."

With multiple options at your fingertips such as 30 AM/FM presets, an independent alarm/sleep function for CD/MP3/AM/FM and playback repeat functions, the compact Delphi CD Audio System can be used almost anywhere the listener wants to enjoy quality music entertainment.

The SKYFi receiver, sold separately, is an affordable next-generation satellite radio that offers more than 100 channels of XM Radio's revolutionary programming including music, news and entertainment.

SKYFi offers the most advanced user features of any satellite radio on the market today: portability, a large display, direct channel entry, the ability to preview by artists and song titles, and 20 channel presets. Optional home and vehicle adaptor kits are also available.

The first satellite radio receiver system for the OEM automotive market was introduced by Delphi in 2002. Since that time, Delphi has continued to expand its in-vehicle and consumer electronics technologies. Delphi has a broad portfolio of products to answer a wide variety of information and entertainment needs.
