Kia Canada Inc. announces new President and CEO

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Jan. 6, 2003; Kia Canada Inc. is pleased to announce that Mr. Bill Porter has been appointed President and CEO of Kia Canada Inc. effective January 1st 2004.

In this position Mr. Porter will succeed Mr. J. M. Park who has been promoted to Executive Vice President with Kia Motors Corporation in Korea and will therefore be returning to Korea.

Mr. Porter with over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry currently holds the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Kia Canada Inc..
