The Ferrari 3000 from Acer is a full-featured, thin and light notebook with a brilliant 15" SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) TFT display and 512MB of DDR333 SDRAM upgradeable to 2GB system memory. In addition to wireless 802.11g, the Ferrari 3000 offers four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire(R) (IEEE 1394) port, FIR (fast infrared), 10/100 LAN connection, 56K V.92 modem, S-video output and Bluetooth(TM) support.

This newest Acer notebook incorporates a 60GB ATA/100 removable hard drive, DVD+/-RW optical drive and 4-in-1 card reader for optional MultiMediaCard(TM) (MMC), Secure Digital (SD) card, SmartMedia(TM) card or Memory Stick(R).
