TRW Automotive Names Patrick Stobb Director, Investor Relations

LIVONIA, Mich., Jan. 5, 2004 -- TRW Automotive today announced that Patrick Stobb has joined the company as director, Investor Relations. Mr. Stobb reports directly to Joseph Cantie, vice president and chief financial officer, and is located at the TRW offices in Livonia, Michigan.

Mr. Stobb will be responsible for TRW Automotive's global Investor Relations function. In this role, he will serve as the primary contact with the financial community and manage the company's shareholder services.

Prior to joining TRW, Mr. Stobb held the position of manager, Investor and Shareholder Relations at Visteon Corporation since June 2002. Prior to that, he held a number of finance positions with both Visteon and Ford Motor Company.

He received a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Walsh College and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
