Sewell Saab HUMMER Opens in Collin County; Area's First Saab HUMMER Dealership Starts New Year at Dallas North Tollway and Park Boulevard

DALLAS--Jan. 1, 2004--Sewell Saab HUMMER's new facilities will be open for business on Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at 1645 Dallas Parkway, just a half block south of the Shops at Willow Bend.

The first dealership for Saab and HUMMER in Collin County, Sewell Saab HUMMER will offer full service and sales Monday through Saturday under the supervision of General Manager Nick Vanderpool.

While Sewell Saab HUMMER is the newest facility for Saab and HUMMER in the country and the largest in the Southwest, it is not the first venture by the Sewell family in the area.

"Collin County was named after my great, great grandfather, Collin McKinney," said Sewell Automotive Companies Chairman Carl Sewell. "It's a lot easier coming to Collin County in 2004 than it was for Collin McKinney in 1846."
